Jessica Thomas

Jessica Thomas is an art director, photo director and producer working out of Des Moines, Iowa. She's done a lot of work for Target as well as a slew of home and design magazines. She wanted a site that would give her an opportunity to showcase pairs of photos with the addition of a news/blog that didn't feel like a blog. She also wanted her site to feel like a book someone could flip through. Without doing a cheesy page turn effect we managed to keep the site clean and simple. You can flip through the photos by using the left/right arrows keys on your keyboard or, of course, the standard click of a mouse. Her news section lists one post at a time and again you flip through to the next post which gives the site a nice scrap book sort of feel. Caroline built her a custom Wordpress CMS complete with video tutorials so Jessica can update every aspect of the site herself.
